Gravity

Space-time. Gravity.

I'm sure most of us have come across this term a lot. But do we exactly know what it is?

Well, it's simply an attractive force that keeps us stuck to Earth. But the thing is, we don't know the reason as to why it exists. Latest developments in learning about gravity gives us a definition that Gravity is basically a distortion in time-space.
It means, that if one is travelling through time( like we are) then one has to travel through space(like the earth is). Basically, since we see time passing, we have to necessarily travel through space. That is the very reason we are bound to earth, because earth moves through space(at an approximate speed of 460 m/s). So the thing that binds us to earth, so we can travel through space, while we are travelling through time is Gravity. So the question now occurs is can we travel through space and not through time? The answer is yes, theoretically. Although, the existence of absolute space is debatable and not been proven practically. But we do know, that at incredible speeds, like that of light, one can achieve practical wonders of physics. How? well, the answer is simple. We know we travel through time because as time passes we get deteriorated or decomposed. But no one's ever wondered as to why light or any sort wave never decomposes. That is because it travels at incredible speeds. Incredible speeds means travelling more distance at a very small time. Speed of light is 3*10^8 m/s. Consider travelling one meter at that speed. Then the time taken would be 1/3 *10^-8 That's like, 3 nano seconds which is 0.0000000003 seconds. Now of course, that is pretty much close to zero time. So if we can travel at such incredible speeds, then we almost can travel through only space and need not travel through time!
